Nelson Mandela Day | 67 Minutes of Service

On Nelson Mandela Day, we honour the enduring legacy of a visionary leader who believed deeply in the transformative power of education and empowerment for the youth of South Africa. This day is more than just a celebration of Madiba’s remarkable life and contributions; it is a global movement dedicated to honouring his life’s work and striving to make the world a better place. The spirit of Mandela Day is about taking action, inspiring change, and making a tangible difference in our communities.

In this spirit, our Bragan Ingredients Johannesburg team dedicated 67 minutes to organising lunches and after-school snacks for the learners at the LIV Lanseria/Ithuteng Afterschool Programme. This initiative, led by LIV Lanseria, provides a safe and supportive environment for over 250 local learners, helping them with their homework and studies to better prepare them for life after school.

Bragan Ingredients is immensely proud to be associated with an organisation like LIV, which works tirelessly to bring positive change to communities across South Africa. By supporting such initiatives, we contribute to creating a brighter future and continue the legacy of Nelson Mandela’s vision for education and empowerment.
